These are the kind of outfits that I live for during the week when our schedule has me running here and there with two little boys in tow. The truth is, we’re almost always on the go. Not because we have to be, but because that’s just how we like it. I love being busy, staying active and looking for ways to have fun with my babies ( or ‘big boys’ according to them!).
One thing that I absolutely need in my day is some time to sweat it out. A good gym session to work out and let go of the little stresses that all of us have. This is my therapy – really. I need it so much that when I don’t have time to get in a proper workout, it’s very likely that at some point in the day, the music is going while me and the little (BIG) ones dance in a very Monica-from-friends-while-mocking-chandler kind of way. And if you don’t get that reference… I’ll forgive you. But you’ll probably need to brush up on your Friends knowledge if you care to continue reading this blog 😉
This shirt is from our original JoyBound line and month after month, proved to be one of our hottest sellers. The color is my favorite but probably the best part would have to be that I have washed this shirt AT LEAST 50 times and it doesn’t look worn and only gets softer/silkier. Those are the best kinds of t-shirts, amiright??
The skort is from Costco. I’ve been on the hunt for one of these for a while. I like that it covers the bum and doesn’t contour to every single curve of my body. I would have preferred to thrift one but it was just laying there calling my name one day and I felt the need to treat ma’self. However, my friend has one that she thrifted which I love because it’s of course the more ethical option.
The ‘Going Places’ tote can be found here in my shop. The style is slightly different but the design is the same. It’s perfect for the gym (or school, or roadtripping) in my opinion. And I know I’m biased but… isn’t it cute??
So my suggestion is, find yourself a gym skort, a t-shirt you love and a bag that doesn’t scream GYM and you’ll be all set for a lunch date with your friends or not feel too frumpy running off to story time with your kids right after the gym (because who has the time to change?!). And if you know me, you’d know that I’d much rather choose time with my clan over time spent getting ready any. day.
